Movements, Function and N.C.A.A BASKETBALL

Hi there, hope all is well. Watched a great game last night between Michigan and Louisville. The Cardinal came out on top. I’m always amazed at the speed and agility of the  Basketball players as opposed to the power and strength of Football athletes or the balance of hockey players.  This is why when we work privately with someone, an important question we should ask them is what they want out of our sessions, because we are all so different. So our sequence and movements should be based on their individuality  so the can function better in life or sport.

Have an awesome day, and as a tribute to the end of College hoops a great saying from the amazing Jim Valvano

“To me, there are three things we all should do every day.

We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is

laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think.

You should spend some time in thought. And number three

is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be

happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think,

and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day. You do

that seven days a week, you’re going to have something

special.”
