ROCK IN A HARD PLACE

  • TODAY’S MEDITATION BEGINS : EITHER SIT OR LAY DOWN IN A COMFORTABLE POSITION.PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BREATH FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES: INHALE AND EXHALE .
  • BEGIN TO ATTACH A  COLOR TO YOUR BREATH BASED ON YOUR MIND AND  MOOD. DO THIS FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES: REMEMBER BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF.
  • START TO VISUALIZE A BUCKET THAT HAS TEN ROCKS IN IT: USE YOUR IMAGINATION, NOTICE THE DIFFERENT SHAPES, SIZES AND COLORS THEY POSSESS
  • NOW ASSIGN FIVE  POSITIVE  TRAITS TO FIVE ROCKS IN THE BUCKET- THESE COULD BE QUALITIES YOU HAVE OR ONES THAT YOU ARE WORKING ON.
  • ASSIGN THE OTHER FIVE ROCKS  CHARACTERISTICS THAT HINDER YOUR SELF GROWTH.
  • SLOWLY BEGIN TO SEPARATE THE GOOD ROCKS FROM THE BAD ONES, PLACE THEM INTO TWO DIFFERENT BUCKETS
  • TAKE A COUPLE OF DEEP BREATHS AND START TO SEE HOW YOUR BODY, MIND AND THOUGHTS CHANGE AS A RESULT OF ATTAINING THESE FIVE HEALTHY QUALITIES AND DISCARDING THE UNHEALTHY ONES.
  • CARRY  THIS POSITIVE IMAGE OF YOURSELF WITH THESE ROCKS IN YOUR POSSESSION THROUGHOUT THE DAY.
